Biography
Nadi Figur-Ambler has adored performing since she was young, singing in school bands and performing as a soloist before becoming enthralled in musical theatre. She set her sights on performing as a career and has been driven ever since. Before coming to NASDA, Nadi was selected for the 2022 Shakespeare Globe Centre New Zealand Young Shakespeare Company which saw her perform as the Fool in King Lear in 2022 on the Globe Stage in London.
While studying for her Bachelor she has gotten opportunities to be in productions and play characters like Mary Bennett and Caroline Bingley in Pride and Prejudice, a Wickersham Brother in Seussical Jr., Putting It Together, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, First Man in Kiss Me, Kate, and as an Ancestor in The Addams Family. Nadi has also been a part of TheatreWise’s production of Bring It On as Skylar, and is now excited to be a part of 9 to 5 The Musical at The Court Theatre.
